A surprisingly good YouTube video, if you can get past the adverts (which are the standard YouTube interruptions and Bailey’s own marketing of her numerous sponsors).
One thing that is particularly idiotic was the Catholic church of the sixteenth century would prefer to mutilate young boys than consider letting a woman sing in church.
Ironically, the church under the Roman Emperor Constantine the Great began persecuting eunuchs.
She engagingly covers Chinese and Persian imperial eunuchs.
Then she moves onto Alan Turing and highlights that his homosexuality was punished by chemical castration, which destroyed him physically. He had a criminal conviction as a result. She points out that he should have been celebrated as a hero. He got a Royal Pardon (woohoo). He now appears on the ten pound note.

When all said and done, if you were expecting to hear LOTS about the sex lives of eunuchs, you’re going to be a little disappointed.
She sounds like such an airhead, yet I feel that the video is well researched and engagingly [presented- its worth stepping out and having a watch.
