Mornings on Testavan

Morning T

This last fortnight I have been taking my Testavan first thing in the morning – as soon as I get up I am into the bathroom and applying the gel, which takes twenty minutes to dry.

It usually takes me about forty-five minutes to have a coffee and a banana, do a few minutes doom-scrolling, before popping my gym kit on and getting to the gym.

This morning I started a new Testavan pump; I noticed that the blob looked a little bigger than the last blobs from the old pump. Probably nothing significant, but it was different.

I’m spinning around

Last week I did two spin sessions and two circuit sessions – having a qualification in personal training helps me, even if I am not training anybody else!

The spin sessions have slowly gotten more intense, and I upped the weights in the circuit session, so I believe that consistency – and testosterone – are making a difference.

I have also taken wet-wipes to wipe down the kit after exercise. The Testavan has certainly dried before I go, however I am worried that sweating is causing some of the residual gel to run down my arms onto the kit. I don’t want to be responsible for three-headed babies or ladies growing beards.

Seriously, testosterone is a powerful hormone that I must take responsibility for.

Sweet enough

I have also been very good with my “no refined sugar” diet. I haven’t checked everything I’ve eaten for refined sugar, but I have steered clear of things that were obviously containing refined sugars. Fruits are allowed, and I am eating three or four pieces a day. I am also allowed hunny (thank you bees), so I am having a spiced masala tea sweetend naturally. I know, I know, its still sugar, but I set the rules!

Migraines

I have had three days of migraine, which I am putting down to changes in my sight; I wear varifocal contact lenses and I don’t think they are adjusted well enough for close-up work like reading or computer monitors.

Also, I have been in the office three days this week and the office has horrible lighting, which some people insist on turning on.

Ouch! Every bloody time!

I have some tinted glasses, which help, but this week I think the eye-strain from the change in vision as well as the lights was too much.

Meetings do not help. Lots of people talking and it’s a strain to follow those kinds of discussions. I’m mentally shattered by lunchtime.
