Starting back with repairs

After a break of a few weeks, I’ve started to strip wallpaper in the dining area, which was the area worst affected by the flood. Parts of it were already falling off, other areas were very stubborn. It was, in fact, two layers of paper: backing paper painted white and patterned paper. The painted paper did not want to come off.

I scored the rest of the area that I was working on and sprayed it before lunch. It came off much more easily after being allowed to soak for thirty minutes.

Hormones and dry eyes

This last week, my migraines have gotten unbearable. One day I had to finish work early; I went to be at 8pm and didn’t get up untill 8am.

They have so many triggers for me: being over-tired, stressed (either regular stress or ASD stress), dehydrated, too bright, too noisy, too much caffeine (at least, having broken the addiction, too little isn’t a problem.

Changes in eyesight after also a trigger, and I have been finding it increasingly difficult to see close up lately. As a programmer being able to see the screen is kinda critical.

So I had a contact lens checkup today.

Nice fellow, asked all the usual questions, however when I listed regular antidepressants and testosterone he commented that dry eyes are a common response to antidepressants and hormone treatments.

Interesting. Something else I didn’t know!

Talking about a meetup

One of my online friends, a baby eunuch brother, has been asking about a eunuch meetup.

I found the last one exhilarating, meeting with two others just like me (at least on the trousers department). They are fascinating and fascinating individuals and I really want to see them again.

A hot idea

My online eunuch little brother wants to go to a gay sauna as a group. I think that would be hilarious as a bunch of the detesticulated fill up the sauna and astonish all the regulars!

Sadly, if be watching only. Just because I’m on a diet doesn’t mean everybody else has to starve!

Activism

A meetup is something that my friend Tacitus would love to happen again, but he would like to have an aspect of activism and education in it.

We are a small community, and getting professional help from the medical establishment is difficult, so we might be better working together to raise awareness of our kind.

We might want to discuss the difficulties getting hormones, troubles with GPs gatekeeping services, surgical routes available in the UK, and maybe making an approach to the Gender Clinics.
