I haven’t posted anything for more than a week! Its unheard of!

Why is that?

Its that scrapbook! Every evening I am organising photos and memorabilia from my trip to Spain into themes and arranging each page into a pleasing design, such as “Tarragon”, “Street Art”, “Wildlife”. Then I have added comments and stickers just to add a bit of extra life to the pages.

I have looked forward to doing it every night.

And whilst I have also been doing gardening work to get ready for the new back gate, the moment that I have “done enough” for the evening I am back on the scrapbook.

I have been thinking about it all the time and its not left space for anything else!

I reckon that’s the very definition of a special interest.

And now that its done? I feel a sense of relief almost, that I can resume some of the other things I enjoy like reading and blogging – and sadness that this fun creative project is over … until next year!
