Public (in)conveniences

I had to come into town to have a contact lens checkup.

Busting for a pee, I headed towards the toilets.

There was quite a long queue for the lady’s loo. No queue for the gents.

Hmm. Is this another reason why TERFs hate trans women? Increased demand for limited resource; the old song of scarcity causing conflict?

I wonder what women do in there?

An old memory surfaced as I was standing there watching the queue.

When I was a kid, the girls would go to the bathroom in little flocks. They would be gone for ages.

Why did they have to go in groups anyway?

Did they do something other than pee in there?

I wonder if there are enough cubicles?

Maybe there aren’t – and I’d bet money that the architect was a bloke who created two spaces of identical size.

Is that the problem? Too many male architects who never have to queue for the loo?

Would the TERFs be better off campaigning for more plentiful ladies’ facilities?
