I have been so excited about seeing Funiculosus this weekend. We’d been messaging each other, both as friends and as Dom/sub talking about our upcoming session.
Then last night before bed my throat started to feel sore.
This morning it was even more sore, my head ached, and my nose was full of snot.
I was devastated!
I’m a panic not to let Funiculosus down, I sprayed my throat with anaesthetic, took Sudafed decongestant and paracetamol (very bad because the decongestant also contains paracetamol), and drank coffee.
Then I really started thinking: I need to be responsible, both to Funiculosus because I care about him (and he has a father in his eighties) and to myself because, well, you know – recent heart attack and all that!
I’d also planned to see my dad, brother, and nephews this weekend. My dad is also in his eighties, and my brother doesn’t need his boys being full of cold over Christmas.
Funny how my first thoughts were of missing playtime with Funiculosus though!
I messaged him saying that I was literally crying with disappointment (and I was, this was no figure of speech). He asked to phone me and we talked for ninety minutes!
Actually, he did most of the talking – and he has a wonderfully energetic and sexy voice! His voice is a calming medium-deep. Funny how the depth of the sound contrasts to the energy of the delivery. It’s the kind of voice you’d love to hear on there radio. He laughs a lot, which is infectious.
There was a lot of talk about food – he works in catering and is also a talented chef in his own right. I cannot wait to try some of his food – the way he describes it makes me salivate!
He told me something of his he met his partner and their live fit each other. They might pay with other guys, but they are very much in live with each other.
We’re going to see each other early in the New Year and already had the date in our diaries.
Next, I called my dad and brother. They were shorter conversations.
Afterwards, I was bloody knackered! But I’ve done my bit to protect the people I care about from a yukky cold.
<sigh>
I’m still bloody disappointed.
Those phone calls also wore me out.
Time for a lie down!
