My test results have come back!

All clear – I don’t have any infections. They tested for:

• Urine, throat, and rectal Chlamydia
• Urine, throat, and rectal Gonorrhoea
• HIV
• Syphilis
• Hepatitis C and B

Which is an enormous relief … especially since I’m off to see Cicero for a kinky leather weekend soon!

That’s not a bad turnaround – I posted the tests on Friday morning, I got the results by text Wednesday lunchtime. And they were free.

I don’t feel quite relaxed though – the fellow who alerted me to the possibility that either he caught it from toilet seats or his test was faulty; he’s since had a confirmation that his test result was accurate.

So maybe there was a problem with my test? Having raised the question of whether his test was accurate, immediately raises the question was mine?

I’m seeing the sexual health clinic next week to collect more PrEP, so I’ll ask them to retest it.

Negative? But not able to relax.
