Enjoying a quiet day at the flat

Foodie Friday

After another struggle to get out of bed, I showered, put on my t-gel, then zipped over to the flat to work. I brushed my teeth at the flat because I was so behind.

Lunchtime was burrito time! Nom nom nom! I shall miss living so near to such a great place for food.

Notice

On that note, I dropped into the lettings agent and asked about being able to get out of the contract early. The agent was great and reckons that it really won’t take long to let the flat.

That’s a relief!

Spoiler!

The afternoon a migraine started to develop. It probably wasn’t helped by listening to the BBC Proms – there was a great jazz singer; normally I struggle with jazz because it can sound a bit too chaotic to me. Maybe that’s because my brain is trying to track everything and singularly fails.

Then there was some symphony that was just noise and crashes. I love symphonic music, but this really wasn’t that harmonic.

Enjoy the American classics prom, Anderson tour rhapsody in blue twice. It was fascinating watching how complicated and challenging and fast the piano was!

After work I went for a lie down.

Starting the move

Then I packed up most of my clothes and took them to the house. There’s only few boxes and bags of clothes left to take now.

I’m going to keep the rest of the flat as it is because I can continue to work there – my Friday treat will be a night at the flat!

A baby brother

I had a phone call with a new eunuch brother!

What a privilege to be the first person they phoned – I am deeply honoured.

Everything seems to have gone very well; his delight was an absolute joy to hear.

They have had their operation in Spain, so this offers hope to all our postulants in Europe.

This is why I am putting on weight!

Talking of my Friday treat, for tea I’m having pizza from the local pizzeria… and a few cocktails!

Thank you my beautiful little flat: I shall miss you.

Sophisticated: cocktails from cans!
