Check in
What a rotten night’s sleep! Husband had a cold, so I slept downstairs. That’s about a problem. What was as problem were the gazillion stupid and trivial thoughts that were ruining through my head. I’d shut one down and another would start up. When I say stupid and trivial, I mean thinking about what I’d write today, or the fingering for “Moonlight Sonata”, or some high energy pop song would start playing. My heart was racing as well. At half-one in the morning I took a beta blocker to calm my heart down and I was finally able to sleep.
I woke at about half-five busting for a pee, but with the alarm set for six I couldn’t be arsed.
Another aspect of “stupid brain” is that I don’t seem to have the same concentration that I used to have, whether that’s down to low T or stinky not sleeping so well I cannot say.
We are having a games night at the office tonight and I’m the only one with the key, so I feel that I need to stay. I’ll probably be ok later for playing games. Either that, or I’ll go find a dark room to lie down in until they finish.
Carcassonne

It was office games night tonight. We have one every now and then. This was the game we played, set in medieval France. It’s quite aesthetically pleasing. An ex-colleague brings a different game every time, so they can’t be too complicated. The kind he typically brings tend to allow quite a bit of socialising and chatter.
I didn’t do too badly considering I had a headache and felt rubbish!
